Bench measurements cannot reproduce every window condition for adjustable window screens. Build a fit-test set that includes the intended opening type, shallow and deep tracks, common frame obstructions, and examples near the minimum and maximum labeled sizes. Record which surfaces support and retain the screen.
During installation, check whether the consumer can position the panel without excessive force, whether the adjustable joint stays aligned, and whether edges create unwanted gaps.
